An afternoon with Pandora

I was recently invited to celebrate wedding season with pandora. Pandora is one of my favourite high street jewellery brands and I’ve shopped with them countless times. They have recently released their Bridesmaid collection and were wanting to showcase their Necklace collection to a small selection of bloggers.

IMG_5824.JPGI headed over to the Ivy by Tower Bridge with the lovely Eva a few weeks ago but thanks to the terrible rain traffic we were late… fashionably late if I may say. We were invited into one of their gorgeous private rooms that over looked the River Thames. The evening sun was still shining so it made for a beautiful backdrop. Pandora always has the most incredible and well thought out events so I always feel so honoured to be invited.

IMG_5830.JPGEva and I were quickly seated and introduced to a professional calligrapher. I’ve been to one calligraphy session before and absolutely loved it so I was excited to have another go at it. Calligraphy is such a hard skill to learn and perfect but I did not want to give up on it. She was a fantastic teacher and was so informative and easy going with us. She started by introducing us to upwards and downwards strokes and how you can change them with the position and strength placed on your nib.

IMG_5822.JPGThe Ivy is known for their delicious, well thought out food and this evening didn’t disappoint. We were greeted with a delightful canapés menu that was brought out to us throughout the evening. Some of my favourites included the Bang Bang Chicken, Seasonal Vegetable Risotto and the Truffle Arancini… the perfect accompaniment to the endless glasses of wine and Champagne that were constantly being brought out to us.

IMG_5823.JPGPandora has advertised a selection of the wedding collection and necklace collection for us to see and try on! A perfect chance to see the collection and see how beautiful and delicate all the pieces are. Pandora hosted a little competition during the evening that encouraged us to ask someone to be your bridesmaid. Unfortunately, my calligraphy skills weren’t up to scratch so I didn’t win!

IMG_5821.JPGTowards the end of the evening, a gorgeous range of desserts and I didn’t want them to end! They brought out the most delicious white chocolate and passionfruit ice cream balls, mini raspberry cheesecakes and a selection of macarons.

Facetune_12-06-2019-21-45-19.JPGI feel so lucky to have had to chance to see the different collections in all their glory and to celebrate with other fantastic bloggers. Once again, a big thank you to Pandora for inviting me! I always have such a fantastic time at their events.

Love, Cally x
