Birchbox x Matthew Williamson

So another month has started and I’ve received my December Birchbox. I was soo excited when I received this box as I’m absolutely IN love with the design. If you don’t know who Matthew Williamson is, he’s a British fashion designer who’s known for using bold colours and designs. The deep red is perfect for the Christmas season and I love the floral print! I’ll definitely be keeping this box and using it to store make up in.

Onto the contents of the box..

The first thing that caught my eye was the Baija Paris Caramelised Honey Body Scrub (RRP £14.90 60ml) The sample size I received was 50g/1.76oz and I thought this was the perfect amount! Now, onto the most important thing.. the smell. This is the most gorgeous and delicious smelling body scrub I have ever smelt! It is a blend of sugar and honey which is what gives it the scrumptious scent. I’m so excited to use this and I have high hopes for this body scrub!

Next I received the Loc Vibrant Matte Lipstick in Colour Me Confident (RRP 0.6g/0.02oz £6.50) which is a birch box exclusive! This lipstick is a gorgeous cranberry shade which is so perfect for the Christmas party season. It’s described as being specially formulated so it stays in pace all night. I always use liquid lipsticks so it’ll be interesting to see if this is as good as it says it is.

The ModelCo Contour Stick (RRP £13.00) came next.  If you’re wanting to buy the mini version you can do so here and it’s £8.00 for 2.1g/0.07oz. I love contouring and have always used my LA pro concealer (£5.00) which is my go to! It’s affordable and blends out like a dream, I’m keen to try this product and see how it compares with my other cream contouring products.

I was super excited to receive the Sand & Sky Brilliant Skin Purifying Clay Mask (RRP £39.90). I received a 13g sample which will allow me to get a few uses out of it. It’s on Beauty Bay for £39.50 though which is marginally cheaper plus you get free delivery which is always a plus! This mask claims to detox, invigorate, refine and brighten your complexion. I love using masks and always like trying smaller sample sizes before buying the full sized product.

Lastly, I was very excited to receive the Spectrum B04 Angled Blender Brush (RRP £4.99) it’s on the Birchbox website as £5.99 though as it’s the Marbleous Black one. I’ve been holding off using this to take blog photos (because I wanted to keep it clean) which has been sooo hard, so I can’t wait to finally use this! Spectrum brushes are always very affordable and great quality!
